God Rock Cafe

Found this place just around the corner from work. This is an outreach program which runs a shelter right above the cafe and provides a Christian based drug and alcohol treatment program. They have concerts and other entertainment weekly. I was deeply touched by their enthusiasm and their desire to change lives.

If you are in Everett, consider giving them some business! The food is delicious and all proceeds (after operating costs) go to the services they provide. The place is staffed solely by volunteers and they gladly answered my many questions without being preachy.

"We are a non-profit volunteer based venue for all genres of christian music and offer rockin' food and espresso, classes and workshops. We are often used for business meetings and are a Wi-Fi hotspot as well. All of our events are for ALL ages, making us a safe place for families, a rockin' venue for teens and college students as well as a drug and alcohol free alternative to the bars and night clubs. We promote sobriety and continue to foster an environment to nurture and grow the community in Everett.
