Where to begin? What to say? It took my breath away.

AZ trip - Kyle Petty!

Stayed at cousin Diana' house and took in Nascar week-end at Phoenix International Raceway. Kyle (Richard Petty's son) was filming a live show for Speed Channel. He is the greatest. I especially love hearing about Victory Junction Camp which he established in honor of his son Adam who died in a race. The camp funds weeks of fun for campers with all sorts of medical concerns. They bring in medical specialists as well, each week is specially designed for children with a different diagnosis.

Then driver Ryan Newman won me over when I found out his foundation helps rehome abandoned animals!

AZ trip - Grandma in Quartzsite

First stop was a visit with Grandma and all the family in Quartzsite. Celebrated Mom's birthday with a visit to a Gospel jam. Lots of local snowbird musicians getting together having fun. Quartzsite has a jam just about every night.

Sandy's turning 50

Where have the years gone? Celebrating with an AZ trip including Grandma and other family members, Grand Canyon, Nascar and Mariner's spring training. Wow!

Weather

22 inches of snow in MO. Our inlaw's paper was temporarily shut down for the first time in 60 some years! Praying for everyone's safety. I feel blessed that our friend Jan had safe weather to help our friend with radiation, chemo and then a hospital admit tonight. Thanks Jan!
